Sleeping In His Own Bedroom

Both boys have their own bedroom but for a reason that I already forgot, Kendrick started sleeping with us which is I don't mind at all anyway. Here and in US, they encourage kids to sleep in their own room as early as infancy as a part of their training to be an independent.  I'm all for independency  alright, but not for letting my babies sleeping all alone in their bedroom, specially knowing for sure that it'll come to the point  when they don't  even want to be in the house anyway, lol!
Two nights in a row,Kendrick decided he want to sleep in his bedroom again and in those two nights, he come to our bedroom in the middle of the night and sleep with us. I'm glad he did, because I'm not ready either for him to sleep in his own, I went to his bedroom last night and told him if he want me to pray with him and he said, he already prayed in his mind. I'll see again tonight where he want to sleep. :)

  2. i also believe in teaching the kids to be independent. so when my kids were newborn, i tried to put them on the cot to sleep. but eventually, both of them ended up sleeping on our bed. LOL. still co-sleeping now. I also thought the same thing... one day, they won't even want to stay at home, might as well cherish the moment.

  3. My son still sleeps with us... no space for his bed kasi. But I can sense that he wants to have his own room. Well, room for his toys that is lol!
